Japanese Sen Cha
Sencha is the most common Japanese tea. It has a unique processing method where the fresh-picked leaves are immediately steamed before drying, rather than withered before drying (which would be like traditional Chinese green tea). Afterwards, the leaves are heated to remove excess moisture and rolled into a needle-shape.
Our Japanese Sen Cha has a mellow
fragrance of cream and butter with hints of a nutty aroma. Biscuity
and grassy flavors are perfectly balanced, resulting in a buttery
finish.
